I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Florida State University. My research interests are in applied microeconomics, primarily the fields of public, urban, environmental, and labor economics. I also have work related to health and sports economics topics.
Prior to working at FSU, I majored in Economics and English at Clemson University, worked as a research associate for an economic consulting firm in Washington, DC, and earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia. I live in Tallahassee, with my wife, Susan, and our dog, Boomer.
